In the heart of Switzerland, a land steeped in rich history and diverse cultures, a group of Messengers of Peace, along with President, Dr. Oswaldo Moreno and the National MOP Board, embarked on a transformative mission. Their journey was defined by a profound sense of purpose – a ‘why’ that resonates with every believer called to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in foreign lands.

Dr. Moreno’s powerful questions set the tone: “What is our why? Why are we in Switzerland? Why give our best this week? What is the sustainable outcome that measures this why?” These questions echoed in the minds of those who embraced the divine calling to venture into the unknown, grappling with uncommon languages and unfamiliar territories.

Amidst these uncertainties and new frontiers, they witnessed the unmistakable hand of God at work as lives were transformed in profound ways. Dr. Moreno reflected on the unexpected moments, stating, “Never would we think that we would be at the midnight hour giving Bible studies on salvation, oneness, and baptism.” Such experiences testify to the incredible impact of their evangelistic efforts.

However, the Switzerland Revival team’s journey held even more remarkable moments. During their mission, they had the privilege of baptizing the first native Swiss individual, fluent in four languages, and the first Messengers of Peace member from our Apostolic Mission church in Zurich.

Furthermore, the missionary family stationed in Switzerland experienced a deeply personal milestone as their son, who fluently speaks six languages, was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. This young man represents a burgeoning movement, a symbol of the communities in Switzerland poised to be touched by the Gospel.

Dr. Moreno shared his joy, declaring, “This trip has been a week of so many confirmations, so many testimonies, and so many experiences. God is good! This is our ‘why’.” Although their time in Switzerland was brief, it marked the beginning of a revival that will surely grow in strength and depth. As the Apostle Paul affirmed, some sow the seeds, others water those seeds, but ultimately, God provides the growth.

In Switzerland, amidst the breathtaking landscapes and diverse cultures, a spiritual revolution is unfolding. The Messengers of Peace, answering their divine call, are instrumental in nurturing the church, spreading the message of evangelism, and fostering discipleship. Their ‘why’ is clear, and as they sow the seeds of faith, they trust that, in due season, the harvest will be bountiful.
